StratOps ePCR — iOS & iPad Field Workflows

About the project

Working on an ambulance means moving between a call, the dispatch conversation, equipment checks, and the documentation that follows. I’m building StratOps Mobile around that sequence, with ePCR as its own patient-care documentation workflow. The native app adapts to iPhone and iPad. SwiftData keeps the development records locally, while an iPad command deck and focused iPhone navigation present the same underlying work in forms suited to each device.

The ePCR workflow

• Create and reopen report drafts, with incident identifiers, unit context and update timestamps.
• Record patient age, sex, chief complaint, vitals, interventions and a narrative.
• Save report changes locally and validate required complaint and narrative fields before marking a report submitted.
• Generate a field-based narrative draft that the user can review and adopt.

The surrounding field app

• Dispatch channels and threaded messages, priority labels, status actions, and local queued-message state.
• Narcotics accountability forms, apparatus checkout checklists, stock and maintenance screens.
• Team information, calendar events, shift tasks and MapKit field maps.
• A separate StratAI conversation with streaming-provider integration and a local simulation fallback.

Current state

This is a native development app with fictional seeded EMS records. The ePCR narrative helper currently uses a deterministic template, separate from the StratAI chat. Report submission and queue flushing update local state; production agency delivery, clinical validation and external integrations remain future work. The photo picker currently records a selection count rather than storing an attachment.
